EVE Organization partners with NORAD
EVE Organization partners with NORAD to strengthen women political participation in South Sudan in the transition period and beyond. Participation of women in decision-making and peace processes in South Sudan to date fall short of the 25% representation threshold stipulated in the transitional constitution of the Republic of South Sudan cross board.
This project seeks to strengthen women political participation in South Sudan in the transition period and beyond. The overall goal is a durable peace and stability through equal political participation of women and men in the political transition and post transitional period in South Sudan.
The project covers three states of eastern Equatoria,Western Bahrel ghazal,Western Equatoria including Women political leaders at the National level. It includes providing technical support to women political leaders and parliamentarians to strategically identify their political priorities during the transition and beyond,offers opportunities for lobby and advocate for support, improve inter state women political network and an exposure to their counterparts within the region.
